John Joson Ng

The-University-of-Hong-Kong.jpg

Joson has a very structured approach to teaching, focusing on high-yield content highlighted by the syllabus learning outcomes, and preparing students to deal with common question types and question command words. Joson emphasises on understanding what question-setters are hoping to test, and how students can learn to read this and respond appropriately to score the maximum number of marks.

Joson is a medical student at Duke-NUS Medical School. Prior to this, he obtained his BSc with a double major in Biological Sciences and Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong, and has since been involved in biomedical research at Duke-NUS. He has more than a decade of experience teaching as a freelance tutor and at various tuition centres in Hong Kong and Singapore, across primary school to university levels, and focuses on Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' Levels H2 and H3 Chemistry and Biology. His students have significantly improved after taking his lessons, some of them having gotten into medical school, and some jumping from a S/U in school exams to a B at the 'A' levels.
